ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND PORT SECURITY

Technological evolution and the increase in global trade have transformed ports into increasingly complex and dynamic logistical nodes, which has also led to the emergence of new risks. These risks, ranging from cyberattacks to the handling of hazardous materials, require innovative strategies for effective management. In this regard, artificial intelligence (AI) emerges as a key tool for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating these emerging dangers. This conference aims to address the new challenges in port security and explore how AI can be applied to anticipate threats, optimize decision-making, and strengthen the resilience of port infrastructures against the risks of the 21st century.
